A fridge dessert that went viral as a Japanese cheesecake, made from just yogurt and biscuits. As it sits, the biscuits soften and turn cake-like with the yogurt. Easy, but the result is ordinary, so it is best made with what you already have.

Method

  1. Spoon the high-protein yogurt into a container.

  2. Add the coffee and stir until evenly blended.

  3. Press the biscuits into the mixture.

  4. Scatter blueberries on top if you like.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours.

  6. Once the biscuits have softened, slice and serve.

  • The video used chocolate-filled biscuits; plainer biscuits are likely to give a flatter result.
