A pizza alternative with no yeast and no kneading that's ready for the oven in minutes. Because the batter is pourable, the toppings get stirred right into it and bake into soft, pizza-flavored slices. The mushroom-heavy bits are the highlight.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C.

  2. Whisk the egg, milk, olive oil, salt, baking powder and whole wheat flour into a crepe-like batter.

  3. Stir in the sucuk, corn, peppers, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic, if using.

  4. Mix 70 g of the kashar into the batter.

  5. Spread it over a round tray lined with baking paper, choosing a tray wide enough to keep it thin.

  6. Sprinkle the remaining 30 g cheese on top.

  7. Bake at 190 °C for about 20–30 minutes, until golden on top.

  8. Let it cool slightly before peeling it off the paper and slicing.

Tips

  • If you try to peel it off the paper while hot, it will fall apart; let it cool first.
  • Spread the batter thinly; a thick layer takes longer to cook through.
  • Olives or extra corn are good additions, but keep your daily calorie target in mind.
